Bill learned to play guitar at the age of seven and began playing professionally at the age of twelve. After high school
Bill studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and later received a music degree from the University of Denver. While attending DU, he studied with Gene Rush, Rene Heredia, and Dale Brunning. Bill has the ability to cross between genres with ease and brings with him an extensive background in the music industry. Over his career
he has played with numerous rock, country, funk and jazz bands in Denver and Wilmington. Bill also owned and operated Kerr/Macy Music Group, one of Denver’s top recording studios, during the 90’s
. His primary influences include Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Al Di Meola, John Scofield and
Allan Holdsworth. Bill brings a wealth of experience with him and his passion for the guitar is evident in every performance.
